Starting 1-2 hours before you sleep at night, start to do certain things that will help you fall and stay asleep, so you can be rested and ready to go in the morning. If you have trouble falling asleep, stop looking at screens 2 hours before. This may sound drastic at first, but it will work if you do it. You can do other repetitive things, such as sip some decaffeinated herbal tea, journal about anything that is on your mind, make a to-do list and set out your clothes for the next day, take a bath, etc. If you do this consistency for a month, you will probably start to notice a change when your body and psyche start recognizing your sleep habits mean you are about to start unwinding for the night.
